Storyline:
Xu Wenwu discoved the powers of ten magical rings thousands of years ago. It gave his enormous powers and immortality. So he used it to conquer kingdoms and destroyed many governments throughout the history. He established his Ten Rings organization that had trained soldiers. But in 1996 he travels to a village name Ta Lo to find mythical beasts. But the village guardian Ying Li was so powerful that she stopped the powers of ten Rings. Eventually Wenwu and Li fall in love, get married and have a daughter and son. Wenwu took off the ten Rings and Li abandoned her village. But their normal life didn’t last long. Wenwu’s enemies murdered Li when Their son Shang-Chi was only seven. Enraged Wenwu wore the rings and trained Shang-Chi to kill his mother’s killers. After killing the men Shang-Chi escaped to USA and never came back home.
In the present day, Shang-Chi is a grown man liveing in the US but changed his name. Works with her girlfriend Katy and leads a normal life. But suddenly his father’s organisation attacks him and Katy and take Shang-Chi’s locked givenby his mother. But somehow they escape. Shang-Chi explains everything to Katy and they fly to China to find his sister Xialing. Because his sister also had the same locket and Ten Rings is after that too. But after meeting Xialing, Shang-Chi realises that she hates him for not coming back. Now is a powerful woman owning a fight club. So they fight but Ten Rings interrupt them. Wenwu comes along and take all three back home. He explains that their mother isn’t dead. She came to his dreams and said that her villagers sealed her. So he will destroy the village and rescue her. But Shang-Chi disagrees with the plan to kill the villagers or fighting with them. But Wenwu doesn’t want to listen. So Shang-Chi, Xialing and Katy break out of Ten Rings and reach the mystical village after a lot of hardships. But when they talk about Wenwu’s dream the unexpected truth reveals.
This Marvel movie is full of actions and fantasy creatures. There’s also a little bit drama. But overall an adventurous feeling will be there and it’s a perfect film to watch with your homies on weekend. It’s a must watch.
