Storyline:
Modern day chef Jung Bong-hwan works in the blue house. He is very proud of his skills as a military chef. But in an unfortunate event his soul leaps through time and gets trapped into the body of the Queen in Joseon period which in 200 years before the modern period. Upon discovering the truth he tries to go back to his body by doing everything he can but fails. But the way he behaves inside the palace not only shock the King, Grand Queen Dowager but also the other people around her. Soon they start accepting her weird behaviour and she also gets along with the palace rule. Bong-hwan’s spirit showed amazing cooking skills from modern era and impressed everyone.
But soon she finds herself involved in the dirty politics of the palace. Bong-hwan discovers that the Queen really alone, misunderstood and misused to control the King. He also gets the back the Queen’s memories before she tried commit suicide.
This is an amazingly funny drama with the essence of darkness of greed for power. There was love and war at the same time. Different types of foods and dishes also took attention. This is a must watch series. It has every emotion of a human being and depicted some harsh reality.
