Storyline:
Lucy collects everything from her relationships to remember the happy moments she ever spent with them. She always looked forward to the relationships but somehow things never worked out. But she can’t let go of those memories. So her room is full of junks and it’s a bad mess. She lives with her best friends, Nadine and Amanda. They both are very supportive and comfort her whenever she is heartbroken. But also bets whether her relationships will work or not.
Lucy is currently dating Max and works at a famous art gallery. At her works people constantly tell her about Max not being into her which she ignores. But on the night of a work event her boss Eva Woolf tells her to introduce Max on stage. But she was drunk and sees Max cheating on her with his ex-girlfriend. So she talks bizzare and falls. Max breaks up with her and Eva fires her. Heartbroken she rides Nick’s car thinking it was her Uber driver. Nick drops her and she realises her mistake. Brings Max’s tie and cries over it for days. Her friends tell her to sell all the stuff and move on. On her way she enters a restaurant when she sees Max with his girlfriend. But with a trash bag she wasn’t allowed to enter. But Nick was also there and takes her out. Lucy teases him asks if he was stalking her but she was following him to his unfinished hotel. Nick tells Lucy to let go because she was being a hoarder. Then Nick hangs the tie on his unfinished wall and tells Lucy to leave it there. Lucy got an idea from it and starts a community The Broken Hearts Gallery. Although Nick disagrees because it was his project but Lucy ignores. It went viral on Twitter. People started to stop by just to give something that reminded them about their lost love. They also donated. Lucy also helped Nick with his hotel. With time they got closer and became close friends. Her work got featured on New York Times. When everything started to get better, Max showed up at Lucy’s door. He wanted to get her back. Lucy was confused and Nick arrives. This made Nick a bit agitated. Then Lucy does what needed to be done after all this time.
This is a very enjoyable movie. Anyone who struggling with a heartbreak must watch it. There are some overdramatic scenes though. But it’s worth a shot.
